Hi! I am Shakila Stewart, premier confidence and presence coach for female entertainers.
My life focus used to be solely about looks: I was a diva whose hair, nails, and make-up ALWAYS had to be perfect because I believed that this would be the key to opening doors for me to achieve my dreams and purpose. But when I moved to Los Angeles, California from Chicago, Illinois, I had no money, no house, and no job, all I had was God’s Favor and Two French Braids.
And God still showed me that I was ENOUGH!
For the past twenty years, I have worn many hats in the entertainment industry from performer to director and a model career in between, finding my identity unlocked the passion in me to help empower other female entertainers to find their own identity and not the identity society tries to impose on them. Because the one thing that I know for sure is that
the entertainment industry can be difficult for anybody and even more difficult if we don't know who we are and what we stand for.
Through these years working as a Premier Confidence and Presence Coach, I have encountered various women, and the most common theme we discuss is the pressure they face to compromise their values just to get certain jobs, connections, and notoriety. Despite gaining worldly success, they were still not fulfilled, lacked confidence and true joy.
The truth is that I've been there too!
And what helped me find confidence, fulfillment, and true joy, was not those accolades, fancy luxurious lifestyle, or a wealthy man, it is through learning my identity in Christ. This is why I am so passionate about helping female entertainers find true value in who God defines them to be, instead of finding their value in what the entertainment industry defines as a valuable woman. The good news is that you can go from feeling like an imposter in your own body to a woman who doesn't compromise her values, knows exactly what she wants and has the confidence to be her authentic self.
Queen, I would love to help you through the journey of becoming grounded in your identity, faith, and purpose, so that you can have a more fulfilled and healthy life in the entertainment Industry. Remember, you deserve to not only dominate the stage, but also your personal life as well. You deserve to become whole. You deserve to have peace, love and joy.
